tania bostock
Tania Bostock describes her paintings as "Strong, deliberately Imperfect, and beautiful". Her paintings hero texture and contrast, and her process consists of straightening and perfecting, then pushing the paint in a freer, less controlled manner, working in multiple layers with each. Symbolic of time and aging, imaginary moments and special memories, her paintings often resemble man-made objects such as rusted metal or old walls in a building. As a full-time artist, Tania exhibits at various Art Shows and Galleries around New Zealand. In October 2012 she was presented the Top Award at the Annual Spring Exhibition from Anderson Park Gallery. Her work is held in collections in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland and the U.S.A.
